What our clients say ...
With decades of experience, we have successfully helped thousands of owners and their dogs to fill their full potential.
I was beginning to believe I could no longer cope with my beautiful Golden Doodle, Lola. I got her at 10 months and she had never been taught manners. She pulled on the lead until your arm was aching, was uncontrollable when she met another dog and basically acted like a juvenile delinquent. The final straw was when she charged at a woman and a dog to play, knocking them both flying. I thought nothing could be done to help me communicate effectively with my dog, but I decided to try one last time with a professional. From the first phone call they were supportive, non judgemental and offered advice when I needed it. They worked with me, giving me very clear instructions to remedy my dogs unwanted behaviour, teaching me how to get her attention, when to ignore her and when to praise her. After a very short period of time, I have a super happy dog who is respectful, balanced and also walks to heel. I cannot thank them enough.

My 10 month old Border Terrier, Marley, is very friendly and playful. However, he was starting to take charge of me. If he didn’t like me stopping him digging my garden or not playing ball with him, he would jump up at me, grabbing my jacket sleeves and sometimes my arms. He would also bark at next door as soon as he heard them come out of their door or their car arrive on the drive, I thought it was for attention which he got from them by the bucketful.
After working with Sonia what a transformation! Marley was listening to me at last. I can get him to sit and wait, play ball when I want to, no more plants dug up, no barking at next door for attention and he is walking better on the lead.
He is a lot calmer now and very happy.
Oh yes and the main result I now know how to take charge. A very big thank you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Start the exercises at the very beginning of the walk, on the pavement outside your house, or go to a quiet location nearby.
We do advise not to allow your dog to sniff while practising the exercises, the aim of the exercises are to get your dog to focus on you, so do a couple of minutes of each exercise at the start of your walk, if you get to a grassy area and want to give your dog some freedom to have a sniff and go to the toilet ask them to sit and wait or just wait and then give them the free command.
They can then have some freedom on the lead to sniff and play. If you have time, practice for another few minutes on the way home
No, do a couple of minutes of each exercise at the start of your walk and then incorporate the exercises if needed i.e., if your dog starts pulling during the walk. Remember these exercises are very tiring for your dog so a couple of minutes of each exercise is plenty at one time.
No, your dog will find it hard to concentrate on grass as there are too many smells around, so pavements and pathways are better
We advise not to while practicing the exercises as your Dogs focus should be on you.
We advise not to as the whole aim of the exercises is to get your dog to follow wherever you are walking, and you really want your dog to do what you’re asking them to do because you are in control not because you have something to give them but do give them praise as they love to know that they have pleased us.
All dogs are different. Some dogs like the feeling of you being in control and pull in fairly quickly but others can take more time. If you have a more confident personality or a dog with extreme anxiousness outside, for different reasons these dogs need more work. Teaching a dog to walk beside you on a loose lead requires practice calmness and persistence. Don’t give up if you have a challenging day, this is a process you have started and dogs learn and change if you remain consistent with their practice.
